I always lament the fact that a "good" baby (and thus a "good mom") equals a baby that sleeps. Usually the "good baby" question is followed quickly by "how is she/he sleeping"? My little one cried a lot during the first three months of her life and didn't sleep through the night until she was approaching a year old. That said, she was also a lovely, social little thing that was always up for anything and anyone. There is no such thing as a bad baby! Hurray for this post!
